Here at Complete Dental Health, we’re like one big family. That’s why we encourage families to bring along their younger members so we can get to meet them. Children are important to us, and we believe that in order for them to grow up with strong, healthy teeth, they need educating in dental care from as early an age as possible. We hope that caring for their teeth becomes as much a habit as getting dressed in the morning.
Children and parents alike will be pleased to learn that we have a comprehensive range of modern, pain-free techniques available at Complete Dental Health. We work with children of all ages ensuring that every treatment is as gentle, effective, and free from stress as can be. You can trust our experienced, friendly staff to take special care of your offspring.
Your child’s first visit to the dentist should take place before they reach their first birthday, and as a rule of thumb, six months after their first tooth has erupted. Bringing your child to see us from an early age is the very best way to keep dental problems such as tooth decay at bay, and we can teach you how to clean your child’s teeth and identify his or her fluoride needs.
We’ll usually suggest regular follow-ups every six months to get your child used to the whole dental office thing. We’ll take a full medical history as well as discuss and advise on such topics as brushing techniques, diet, nutrition, risk of decay and how to prevent it, and habits such as thumb sucking.
Remember, we’re here to help and to form good habits early.
